This AAURA course is planned for an upcoming application deadline and targets candidates who plan a real submission within the next year to programmes and calls within but not limited to DFF 1&2, DFF Sapere Aude, the Lundbeck Foundation or the Novo Nordisk Foundation.

The training program consists of a combination of the candidates’ own work on the application, participation in joint workshops, where hands-on work and experience is shared in groups under supervision, and formal lectures with instructions for the work to be done.
The participants must accept to work with their proposal in the given timeline of the course, and must be willing to share ideas, draft proposals, reviews and rebuttals produced as part of the course with fellow participants.
The course programme comprises three workshops/sessions on the following dates:
- Workshop 1: "The nature of the idea" on 29 June, 2020
- Workshop 2: "The review process" on 9 September, 2020
- Session 3: "Personal face to face review meeting" on 22 or 23 September, 2020

The AAURA participation fee is only 1750 kr. (Normal price is 5300 kr.)
What is AAURA?
AAURA or the AAU Research Academy is a competence development programme targeting early career academics at AAU. Eligible AAURA participants are researchers who have completed their doctoral no more than 10 years ago.
